Five Filings is a trading name of Bradley Shaw, a sole trader. Contact: fivefilingshelp@gmail.com. In these terms, "we" and "us" means Five Filings, and "you" means the buyer.
The Five Filings Business Hub is a web app that runs in your browser on your phone or computer, with a Welcome PDF, a picture-by-picture quick start and a setup video. It helps you keep digital records of your business income and costs, sort your bank statement into HMRC's categories, and prepare figures for Making Tax Digital for Income Tax.
You are responsible for: the information you enter; saving your Hub file after each session and keeping a copy somewhere safe; checking your records and figures before you send them; keeping receipts and statements for as long as the law requires; sending updates and returns, and paying tax, on time; and getting professional advice where you're unsure. If your circumstances are complex (for example partnerships, overseas income, capital allowances on large purchases, or VAT schemes), speak to an accountant.
The price is shown at checkout. Payment is taken by Payhip and its payment providers (Stripe or PayPal), whose own terms also apply to the payment. We never see or store your card details.
Your download (the Welcome PDF with your Hub link) is available immediately after payment and sent to the email address you give at checkout. If it doesn't arrive, contact us and we'll resend it.
Because the Hub is digital content delivered straight away, you agree at checkout that delivery starts immediately and that you then lose the usual 14-day right to cancel. This does not affect your rights in section 8 if something is wrong with it.
If you're buying as a consumer, the law says the Hub must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it isn't, tell us and we'll fix it. If we can't fix it within a reasonable time, you're entitled to some or all of your money back. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights. Citizens Advice can tell you more about them.
Most buyers are sole traders buying for their business, and are business customers rather than consumers. If you're buying for your business: we promise the Hub will work substantially as described; if it doesn't, we'll correct it or refund what you paid. Apart from that promise and anything the law doesn't allow us to exclude, we don't give other promises about the Hub.
If the Hub doesn't work as described, email us with your order number and what happened and we'll fix it. If we can't fix it within a reasonable time, we'll refund you in full. If you were charged twice or never received the download, we'll refund the duplicate or resend it straight away. We can't refund because you changed your mind after downloading, or because information was entered incorrectly. Refunds go back to your original payment method through Payhip, usually within 5 to 10 working days.
We give you a licence to use the Hub for your own business records, including sharing your records with your accountant or bookkeeper. You may not resell, share publicly or give away your Hub link, or pass off the Hub or its guides as your own. All rights in the Hub, the guides and the video stay with us.
Tax rates and HMRC rules change. The Hub shows which tax year's rates it uses. We may update the Hub and correct errors at any time.
Your records stay on your own device and in the Hub file you save. We can't see anything you put in your Hub. How we handle your order details is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Email fivefilingshelp@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one shown when you bought.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
The Five Filings Business Hub is a tool for keeping your own business records. It is not tax, accounting, financial or legal advice. Five Filings is independent and is not connected to, approved by or endorsed by HM Revenue & Customs. It cannot submit anything to HMRC by itself: to send Making Tax Digital quarterly updates you need separate HMRC-recognised bridging software. You decide what is business or personal, and you're responsible for the accuracy of your records and anything you send to HMRC.
